Microcredentials
Microsoft Innovative Educator

In 2013, IÂ joined a group of educators to receive training from Microsoft in how to use their Office365 products in the classroom. After being trained as Microsoft Innovative Educators, we became the support for teachers in our building as they learned to use these tools and to help them with any problems they encountered.
Common Sense Educator

Throughout my career as a school librarian, I have frequently used elements of Common Sense Education's resources to support digital citizenship with my students. As we moved into a 1-to-1 remote and hybrid setting, this became even more important. I helped to set up the official training in my school and worked with students and staff so that our school could become Common Sense Certified. In the process, I also achieved the educator certification for myself.
Apple Teacher & Apple Learning Coach

When our district decided to go 1-to-1 with iPads, I knew it would be important to learn more about how to use them successfully. I chose to complete the Apple Teacher online training so that I could better support the teachers and students in my building. I then continued learning by taking their more intense Apple Learning Coach training. I continue to use their resources and I enjoy learning all I can about using Apple devices.
