Last week, I had my first presentation at a conference. I have presented for the staff in my building before, but never at a statewide conference. To be honest, it was a little intimidating. But several people thanked me afterwards, so I think it must have gone all right.

My presentation was on the use of Apple's program, "Everyone Can Create" and how it relates to Universal Design for Learning. Once I learned about this tool, I realized what a useful resource it is and I want others to hear about it, too. I wish I had my own classes to use the resources with, but I have to attempt to use the tools when I collaborate with other teachers (which I will be doing later this week).

The conference at which I presented was the Nebraska Educational Technology Association's (NETA) Spring Conference. I have attended this conference before and it is always a good one. This year was no exception. There are always lots of interesting sessions to attend and tools that educators can start using right away.

If you would like more information about Apple's Everyone Can Create Program, you can read about it here, or look for their free ebooks on the Apple Bookstore.

Here is a link to my presentation.
