Why Noble Rogue?

NobleRogue started as my gamertag when playing video games. My husband came up with it since I usually play either a noble or a rogue character, or sometimes a little of both. And it fits my personality as well. I try to do the right thing, but I am not above being a little roguish to do it. Subtlety can be a useful tool.
So, with this in mind, I started thinking about what would make a cool symbol that represents my page. What I am sharing here is my first draft. It may change, but this is where it starts. I figured that a shield would be a good representation of nobility. The common rogue symbol is a thief's mask with a dagger in front of it. I changed mine to a fancier mask with a stylus instead of a dagger. I included the open book because... Librarian. And I threw a phoenix in back because it is cool, but also because I liked the idea that instead of burning books, new life and ideas are springing forth from their pages. Dorky, but that's me! (And the fact that there is an hourglass, the symbol of my favorite Avenger, on the phoenix doesn't hurt!)
